Project

The figure shows a schematic overview of the GEMIMEG-II concept. It extends from the measured values with calibration and key figures QoS (Quality of Sensing) via sensor and data aggregation with key figures QoD (Quality of Data) to data application, e.g. in the digital twin. The sensor and data aggregation stage is intended to transform the measured values into data and thus decouple the data from the measurement modalities, while also providing confidence measures QoD for the data obtained. This stage may be multiple and arranged in parallel for different measurement values and/or cascaded in a multi-stage processing. The use of the data with QoD can take place in different digital twins, which in turn can access the data with QoD from the multi-stage sensor and data aggregation.

The DCC (Digital Calibration Certificate) presented several times conceptually brings several advantages to the project. The avoidance of media discontinuity and thus the exclusion of transmission errors is obvious. The calibration results are immediately available for further processing. For example, automated extraction of different gauge uncertainties in the areas important for production is possible.
